Principles of the Red Cross

The Austrian Youth Red Cross works to put into action the principles of the Red Cross, which are: 

Humanity 

We serve people but no system. 

Impartiality 

We tend victims but also perpetrators. 

Neutrality 

We obey needs but never kings. 

Independence 

We support initiatives but never take sides. 

Volunteerism 

We work round the clock but not to get rich. 

Unity 

We have many talents but only one vision. 

Universality 

We respect nations but no borders.
